Stampante ML-2240 PROBLEMA

Buongiorno.
Ho comprato un toner nuovo (non originale) per la stampante laser ML-2240, l'ho inserito ma ora la stampante non funziona più: la spia rimane rossa.
Ho controllato che i cavi siano ben collegati e lo sono, quindi non capisco perché non riesce a stampare.
Se qualcuno mi potesse aiutare mi farebbe felice.

La luce è fissa.
Ho già cambiato una volta il toner con uno non originale ma oltre ad avvisarmi che il toner non era originale non mi dava problemi.
Quindi che problema potrebbe esserci?

Molti parlano di uno strano e improbabile reset da fare, io continuo a pensare ad un problema alla cartuccia.

ML-2240 On Line LED Is Solid Red

To find out what specific error is indicated by a solid red LED, open SmartPanel:

If you have not installed the print driver yet, visit our Download Center and do so first. SmartPanel is installed with the print driver.
Right click on the blue S in your system tray (by the clock) and select SmartPanel from the list.

SmartPanel will appear and display the printer's current status. If there is an error displayed:
Click the Error Message and Status LED link above this text and navigate to the appropriate error article.
If for some reason you are unable to get SmartPanel running, check the following. Any of these conditions can cause the On Line LED to glow solid red:
Printer paper is jammed inside your printer.
A cover is not closed properly.
The toner cartridge is not inserted properly and needs to be reinstalled.
The toner cartridge is running low.
There is no paper in the paper tray.
The paper inside the paper tray is not installed correctly.

Important: Before you perform any type of service on your printer that requires you to open the printer, turn the printer off, and then unplug it from the wall outlet.
