Prova a mettere la Puppy, al prompt boot: scrivi

puppy edd=off noapic

Oppure prova la Slax: seleziona la voce che più ti garba, premi Tab e comparirà una riga di comando in basso. Accodaci uno spazio e le due opzioni di prima:

Ricorda che il simbolo dell'uguale (=) al prompt del bootloader si fa con il tasto della i accentata, che dovrebbe stare subito a sinistra di backspace nelle tastiere standard.

Non hai detto di preciso in quale punto del caricamento le altre distro si bloccano. Il fatto che tu non possa inviare comandi da tastiera è un po' poco per dire che la tastiera non funziona E se ti funziona con parted magic è alquanto improbabile che NON ti funzioni con le altre distro, quindi io credo che il problema sia del tutto indipendente dalla tastiera.

Potrebbe anche trattarsi di un problema a livello del kernel, o di interazione del kernel con il BIOS come aveva ipotizzato ninja. Non hai neanche detto se hai provato le opzioni suggerite da ninjabionico, nè hai risposto alla domanda che ho fatto in questo post:
Tu hai un fisso?


O forse non l'hai capita, al che la riformulo e ti richiedo: tu hai un computer fisso? O hai un portatile con scheda madre Acer? Se però hai detto
mobo con chipset nforce

potrebbe essere un po' qualsiasi cosa, ma se è una Acer sono pronto a scommettere che ha un BIOS personalizzato con cui Linux fatica a dialogare.

Con Parted Magic avrete un controllo completo del vostro Hard disk. Il programma è ottimo, io l'ho provato sul mio pc fisso e non ho mai avuto problemi
