Guarda, a questo punto installa direttamente Antivir (tanto non puoi girare in eterno senza un antivirus), aggiornalo ed esegui la scansione completa del pc dalla modalità provvisoria.

Miglioramenti per la navigazione, per il resto vedo ancora tante anomalie.

In C:\ ho ancora il file Data1.cab, e una cartella Data creatisi il 14, posso cancellarli?
Spesso la memoria disponibile cala vertiginosamente durante la navigazione, e inoltre mi preoccupa la batteria che perde lentamente la carica.
Poi mi ero dimenticata che Avira mi ha cancellato totalmente Combofix.

Postami il log di Hijackthis, vediamo se c'è qualche processo pesante all'avvio di Windows.

In C:\ ho ancora il file Data1.cab, e una cartella Data creatisi il 14, posso cancellarli?

Per sirurezza crea una cartella Backup e sposta li sia il file Data1.cab che le cartelle C:\Data e C:\Desktop, così, se si dovrebbe verificarsi qualche problema, potrai sempre ripristinarli.

Quando ciò accade riesci a vedere nel task manager che processo occupa tutta questa memoria?

e inoltre mi preoccupa la batteria che perde lentamente la carica.

Sicuramente si tratterà di un problema di natura hardware e non virale. Un anno per la batteria di un portatile non è poco, poi se usi il portatile spesso collegato alla corrente, la batteria si deteriora ancora di più.

Poi mi ero dimenticata che Avira mi ha cancellato totalmente Combofix.
Devo riscaricarlo?

Si, avevo visto. Ma visto che non ci serve più, va bene così.

Ciao Amantide.
Mentre sto navigando Internet Explorer è schizzata a 98000 kb e la memoria disponibile è scesa a 54000.
Ora vedo che durante la scrittura di questo messaggio IE è scesa improvvisamente a 6000 kb e poi è risalita a 50000 .
Un altro processo che schizza poco dopo la navigazione è svchost.exe, poi si stabilizza sui 30000 kb.

Ti devo chiedere lumi sul back-up. Quali file devo salvare? perché un back-up del sistema è gigantesco. Scusa, ma non l' ho mai fatto. Comunque ho i dvd a portata di mano.

Per quanto riguarda la batteria è vero che si deteriora con l'alimentazione da rete, però questa icona sulla barra degli strumenti è apparsa dopo le scansioni con Combofix e non è più andata via.

Ciao Amantide.
Mentre sto navigando Internet Explorer è schizzata a 98000 kb e la memoria disponibile è scesa a 54000.
Ora vedo che durante la scrittura di questo messaggio IE è scesa improvvisamente a 6000 kb e poi è risalita a 50000 .
Un altro processo che schizza poco dopo la navigazione è svchost.exe, poi si stabilizza sui 30000 kb.

Diciamo che è un comportamento abbastanza normale durante l'uso di browser. La quantità di memoria impegnata dipende da molti fattori: le schede di browser aperte, i siti che si visitano, la presenza di flash e script nelle pagine internet che si visitano, ecc.

Ti devo chiedere lumi sul back-up. Quali file devo salvare? perché un back-up del sistema è gigantesco. Scusa, ma non l' ho mai fatto. Comunque ho i dvd a portata di mano.

Forse non mi sono spiegata bene.
Devi semplicemente creare una nuova cartella con un nome qualsiasi, e spostare li per precauzione il file Data1.cab e le cartelle C:\Data e C:\Desktop.
Se vedi che dopo una settimana il sistema non presenta alcun problema a causa dell'assenza di questi file, potrai anche cancellarli.

Rifai la scansione con Hijackthis, seleziona le seguenti voci (il loro avvio insieme al windows non è strettamente necessario) e premi Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Programmi\Java\jre6\bin\jusched.exe"

Ricontrolla anche tutte le utility/inutility di Lenovo, può essere che tanti di questi non ti servono nemmeno all'avvio perché non li usi.

Può essere che Combofix ha pensato che l'icona è stata rimossa da qualche malware e l'ha ripristinato

Puoi disabilitarla cliccando con il tasto destro su desktop>> Proprietà>> Screen Saver>> Alimentazione>> Avanzate>> e togli la spunta a Mostra sempre l'icona sulla barra delle applicazioni.
