virus e recupero dati

Buongiorno a tutti

come da titolo ho un pc infetto. per sicurezza ho deciso che formatto tutto, il problema è come recuperare i miei file.

il virus in questione ha rinominato tutti i file contenuti nella cartella documenti e desktop (e tutte le relative sottocartelle..) aggiungendo come estensione .police (per esempio se io ho un file sul desktop che si chiama "prova.doc" , il virus l'ha rinominato "prova.doc.police").

ho tolto l'hd dal pc infetto e l'ho collegato ad un altro pc, ho copiato i miei file e ho provato a rinominarli togliendo manualmente l'estensione .police, ma non funziona :
qualsiasi tipo di file abbia provato a rinominare (.doc .xls .pdf) poi non riesco ad aprilo.. si apre il programma corretto (word èer i doc, acrobat per i pdf...) ma poi tutti danno un errore e il file non si apre...

sapete se c'è un modo per recuperare i tutti i miei file????

Ma era il virus che ti bloccava lo schermo con il messaggio della polizia/guardia di finanza?

no il desktop è libero.
i programmi funzionano tutti, solo che non posso aprire nessun file perché rinominati...

l'unico che si apre è un file txt che dice:

Non sapendo quale variante di virus sia di preciso, prova con i tool decryptor che trovi in questa pagina

grazie per l'aiuto
alla fine ho risolto con dr web (lo stesso che hai postato tu , ma ci sono arrivato da altre fonti;P)

scaricare ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/tools/te94decrypt.exe sul pc infetto

eseguire cmd
nel prompt lanciare il comando : te94decrypt -k 186

attendere e alla fine cancellare tutti i file .police
