errore su file mancante

La settimana scorsa ero stato infettato da qualche virus, fatta l a scansione con norton av mi ha risolto il problema. adesso però , all'avvio di win 2000 pro, mi richiede in file che prob ho cancellato perché nella lista dei file infetti e non più riparabili. il file è contenuto nella directory system32 e si chiama system32.exe. ho un altro pc con installato lo stesso os, ma nella cartella non c'è. ho provato anche a cercare nei.cab del disco di inst, ma non trovo niente. C'è un modo per recuperare il file???
