Problemi audio

Non riesco a sentire l'audio. Qualsiasi programma usi, l'audio non funziona. nella sezione Hardware le periferiche risultano tutte ben installate e funzionanti. Ho aggiornato tutti i driver, ne ho anche reinstallato alcuni. Ciò nonostante, anche cercando di riprodurre i suoni di sistema mi compare la scritta "IMPOSSIBILE RIPRODURRE IL SUONO DI PROVA".
Non riesco neanche più a visualizzare i computer in rete. Gli altri mi vedo ma io non vedo loro.
