grub impazzito

Ragazzi avrei un problema:nel menù di grub ubuntu mi compare 2 volte,ma il l'ho installato solo una volta infatti indipendentemente da quale ubuntu scelgo mi prende sempre lo stesso,sono comparti anche 2recovery mode e 2 memtest come lo modifico in modo che si veda solo una volta??e poi in che modo potrei modificare il nome di una cosa(win xp) in Gamestation??

Probabilmente non è che hai installato più versioni del kernel? (magari una è un aggiornamento)

Se sono installate più versioni del kernel è normale... infatti se con la nuova hai problemi puoi sempre avviare il sistema con la vecchia... puoi fare lo stesso con Windows?




Per la modifica del menù di Grub... hai già dato un'occhiata al wiki, vero?

Quindi sai già di /boot/grub/menu.lst, vero?

ma quindi dici che è meglio mantenere o rimettere come dobrebbe essere normalmente??
