Problema porta COM con un dispositivo

Salve a tutti

ho un problema con un dispositivo che mi segnala questo messaggio:

"the port could not be opened. check whether the com port is available and select an available COM prot from the Data Exchange Software properties."

mi delucidate per piacere, non trovo la soluzione!

su che porta com sei collegato?
Direi poi che devi andare nelle Data Exchange Software properties e impostare la stessa porta.

se vado in gestione dispositivi, come porte COM esistono solo COM4 e COM5.....dov'è sto Data Exchange Software?!?

nelle impostazioni del software di gestione del dispositivo, imposta la porta com 4 o 5.

Ci sarà un programma sul pc che gestisce questo dispositivo?
Di cosa stiamo parlando intanto, magari uno lo può anche conoscere.
