Problemi con asferro.dll

Salve a tutti,

da qualche giorno mi compare un avviso di Avira (che tengo sempre aggiornato). A volte compare appena viene caricato Windows (xp sp3), a volte mentre stò usando alcune applicazioni. Il messaggio si riferisce al file "corrotto".

C:\windows\ system32\asferro.dll

Come mi consigliate di procedere? Grazie

Leggendo in rete, non si capisce se il file in questione è un componente di Windows Media Player oppure una infezione.
Per sicurezza, posta un log di HJT.
A parte quello, hai altri problemi?
- Scarica ed installa Hijackthis dal link sottostante:

- lancia Hijackthis
- clicca su Do a system scan and save a logfile
- al termine della scansione verrà rilasciato un file di testo: salvalo sul Desktop perché lo dovrai inviare qui

Da una ricerca su google sembra un malware, rilevato da prevx. Per sicurezza, caricalo su http://www.virustotal.com, e verifica quanti lo rilevano come minaccia e come lo classificano.
Se viene rilevato qualcosa, dalla maggior parte degli antivirus, sarà bene fare una scansione approfondita con il tuo antivirus, se poi il problema rimane, proviamo con metodi più incisivi .

Ma tu consigli di utilizzare HJT anche per preparare il caffè? Capisco che può essere un primo passaggio preliminare per il rilevamento di qualcosa che non va, ma oltre a questo proprio non riesci ad andare? Eppure le strade sono tante da percorrere... ma tu oltre ad HJT e mbam non riesci a consigliare altro, anche in casi di problemi legati all'hardware. Per cui ti consiglio di leggere, leggere, leggere, leggere ma soprattutto leggere come molte cose sono state risolte prima della tua ascesa, di modo che tu capisca che non tutti i problemi si risolvono con HJT.

Questi problemi di solito si risolvono con Hijackthis, se il file -dll- parte all'avvio.

A volte compare appena viene caricato Windows (xp sp3), a volte mentre stò usando alcune applicazioni. Il messaggio si riferisce al file "corrotto".

Questi problemi di solito si risolvono con Hijackthis, se il file parte all'avvio.

per caso ti sfugge che esiste un comando chiamato msconfig e puoi disabilitare le voci in avvio senza utilizzare HJT? O magari che ne esistono una marea per riparare, pulire e ottimizzare il registro (ccleaner è il primo che mi viene in mente)?

Ecco il log di hijackthis (credo che malwarebytes abbia già rimosso il file).

La cosa è molto probabile, nel log non si evince nulla di maligno. Se hai già fatto una scansione con mbam e il messaggio non si presenta, limitati a limare l'avvio di windows, perché sia il mental ray satellite che la tray di acrobat prendono risorse che ti potrebbero rallentare eccessivamente il pc.

Ciao. Utilizzo ccleaner (per pulire sia i file files temporanei che il registro) un paio di volte a settimana (rigorosamente dopo i pasti :-) )

in effetti mental ray satellite rallenta... fra l'altro uso vray, quindi è proprio il caso che lo tolga.
