Salve ragazzi! Mi serve il vostro aiuto!
Da qualche giorno, ho problemi a masterizzare i dc e i dvd con il masterizzatore.
Il lettore cd legge tranquillamente il cd da copiare, mentre quando deve masterizzare il pc si blocca (con alcuni programmi) e il programma mi avvisa che c'è stato un errore (con altri programmi tipo Nero).
Ho provato ad aggiornare i driver del lettore da "Gestione Periferiche", ma mi dice che sono installati i driver più aggiornati.

Il masterizzatore è un hl-dt-st dvdram gsa-t10n, montato su portatile Asus F3Jseries, con Windows XP.

Hai provato software di masterizzazione diversi? Puoi postare l'errore che viene notificato?

Con Nero mi dice "Impossibile utilizzare il Disc At Once". Con Dvd Shrink si blocca completamente il computer. Con CloneDvd mi dice che il supporto è scadente, ma ho provato 3 dvd diversi, quindi non è il supporto.

Il pc ha meno di un anno....mi sembra presto per dire che sia andato il masterizzatore...

Non aggiornare, ma cancella del tutto il driver del "Controller IDE/ATAPI" corrispondente al canale su cui è montato il drive. Poi, dopo il riavvio e il successivo auto-riconoscimento del dispositivo da parte del sistema, verifica che la modalità di trasferimento sia Ultra-DMA e quella massima possibile.....

Ciao.

Visto che hai 2 periferiche ottiche (lettore e masterizzatore) io proverei con una bella distro Gnu/Linux su Live-cd... hai solo l'imbarazzo della scelta (sul link che ho passato su wikipedia in fondo trovi l'elenco delle più usate... tipo Knoppix o Simply Mepis). Basta procurarsi un'immagine iso scaricandola (e masterizzarla magari su un altro Pc) o comprando una rivista con cd in edicola.

Quindi avvierei il sistema su cd dal lettore e poi, una volta caricato, proverei a masterizzare un dvd con qualche file presente sulle partizioni dei dischi fissi.

Se anche con Gnu/Linux la masterizzazione da errore, allora probabilmente è proprio un problema hardware (il masterizzatore sta partendo), altrimenti è software (ovvero un problema di Windows).

Controlla che sul cavo di alimentazione che va al masterizzatore DVD non ci siano attaccate ventole.

Il pc in questo caso è un notebook e ho solo un lettore che fà anche da masterizzatore.
Ho provato a formattare il pc, adesso i cd li masterizza, mentre con i dvd si blocca.
Con Dvd Shrink mi ha dato questo errore:

Non riesco a capire bene questi log (forse perché quelli di Linux mi sembrano più chiari), ovvero mi sembrano incoerenti....

... sembra siano disponibili 4489MB e che si debba masterizzarne solo 4051MB, quindi lo spazio c'è, però subito dopo avverte Not enough free discspace che non c'è.
Nonostante tutto comincia la masterizzazione, per poi interromperla immediatamente dopo... con KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR, errore nella chive del supporto... come se non fosse un disco conforme alle caratteristiche del masterizzatore...
... quindi a questo punto annulla la masterizzazione.

Considera che sto facendo ipotesi... come ho già detto mi sembra incoerente... [uhm]

... hai provato a fare come ti ho suggerito io?

Ti sei procurato una Live tipo Knoppix o Simply Mepis? (basta masterizzarla o, visto il tuo caso, procurartela in edicola su qualche rivista)

Avviato il PC da lettore Cd con la Live, hai provato a prendere qualche file presente sul disco fisso e masterizzarlo su Cd e Dvd?

Ragazzi, grazie per l'aiuto. Ho comunque portato il pc dal mio rivenditore e mi ha detto che era proprio il lettore guasto. Adesso l'ho cambiato e funziona alla grande! Grazie mille [^]
