Salve, anzi Buon Anno,
scusate, ma ho un problema cogli aggiornamenti di windows xp sp2, nel senso che dal 17/11/2006, il download degli aggiornamenti si è come congelato; windows rileva che sono disponibili, ma sia il download,e quindi anche l'installazione,rimangono piantati allo 0%; più dettagliatamente, mi appare lo scudetto giallo, nella tray bar, ad ogni avvio, rimanendo bloccato allo 0%, e dopo 5 minuti circa, si autoelimina dalla traybar; ah, inoltre durante la sua presenza nella traybar, è come se non esistesse, in quanto anche cliccandoci sopra, non succede assolutamente niente.Eppure, i servizi come il trasferimento intelligente, il windows update etc. sono tutti attivi; non capisco perché da un giorno all'altro, senza modificar niente, sia successa una cosa simile.
Vi sarei grato se ricevessi un po' d'assistenza tecnica. Grazie.

Controlla nella cartella windows trovi un file chiamato windowsupdate.log, prova a fare un windows update e poi vai in fondo al file e cerca un codice di errore o posta qui il le ultime righe del file in modo da vedere tutto quello che c'è scritto.

(sicuro che non ci siano virus?)

Mah [uhm] , che io sappia, di virus, finora mai, anche perché ho fatto 4 giorni fa, una scansione approfondita con avast, e mi da' tutto ok, comunque ti posto il contenuto della cartella windowsupdate.log, riguardo l'ultimo accesso, cioè di adesso (ho ancora lo scudo giallo, nella traybar, allo 0% fisso, ovviamente):

Verificare che BITS siano configurati correttamente
Verificare che BITS siano configurati correttamente. Quindi provare a avviare BITS. Quando si tenta di avviare BITS, è possibile visualizzare messaggi un diversi di errore. Questi messaggi di errore sono elencati nella sezione "Risolvere i passaggi". Se si visualizza un messaggio di errore quando si tenta di avviare BITS, attenere alla procedura descritta nella sezione corrispondente nel messaggio di errore ricevuto.

Per verificare che BITS si configurino correttamente e che quindi avviino BITS, procedere come segue:
1.   Fare clic sul pulsante Start, scegliere Esegui, digitare services.msc e quindi scegliere OK.
2.   Fare doppio clic su Servizio trasferimento intelligente in background.
3.   Nella casella Tipo di avvio, fare clic su Manuale e quindi fare clic su Applica.
4.   Fare clic sulla scheda Connessione e quindi verificare che il servizio sia attivato in ogni profilo di hardware elencato. Se il servizio si disabilita in un o altri profili di hardware, fare clic sul profilo di hardware, fare clic su Attiva e quindi fare clic su Applica.
5.   Fare clic sulla scheda Generale e quindi scegliere Avvia.


Controlla anche lo stato del servizio windows installer e metti in manuale pure quello.

Ah, ok, allora si, l'ho impostato come mi hai detto, ma adesso, dopo che ho riavviato, ho tentato di scaricare manualmente gli aggiornamenti, ma mi rida' tutto come prima, compresi gli errori nella cartella windowsupdate.log, nonché lo scudo giallo congelato. Premetto che ho installato su 2 so, xp e me, ma non penso che questo c'entri.

A me questo problema lo causò il firewal: era impostato su un livello di sicurezza elevato. Se ne hai uno diverso da quello di windows, prova a disattivarlo attivando quello di quest'ultimo.

Ho zonealarm, come firewall,ma gli ho aperto le porte in entrata e in uscita,ora; adesso, lo scudo giallo non mi appare più, è totalmente assente, e quando provo a scaricare gli aggiornamenti manualmente mi da' la lista degli aggiornamenti, ma quando gli do download, rimane in attesa, dicendomi il tempo rimanente (10 min ca.), ma anche superato il tempo limite, dopo che non ha scaricato un bel niente, rimane colla finestrina fissa del download anche per mezz'ora (poi per ovvi motivi, mi sono staccato); anche disattivando tutti i firewall (zonealarm e xp,che non uso), è la solita zuppa; non penso sia un problema di firewall,secondo me è proprio il sistema operativo che se ne sta per andare,e pensare che l'ho formattato ad ottobre. Non so più che pesci prendere, comunque grazie lo stesso per il supporto. [:)]
