problemi con eagle usb

si si, sono sempre io
questa volta con un nuovo quesito.
Devo installare il pacchetto (è un pacchetto o cosa?) eagleusb v.2.3.2
tra i prerequisiti per l'installazione vi sono anche i codici sorgente del kernel (kernel-source). tramite Adept ho cercato ma le uniche voci che sono riuscito a trovare sono le seguenti:

come potete notare le ho installate entrambe ma digitando il comando ./configure dalla shell questo è ciò che mi appare:

ho provato anche a digitare il comando come root ma niente...qualche suggerimento? grazie mille!!!

Se non vado errato esistono già dei pacchetti ottimizzati per ubuntu/kubuntu/xubuntu ti conviene installare ed usare quelli onde evitare problemi di dipendenze. I pacchetti in questione sono eagle-usb-data ed eagle-usb-utils. Per installarli puoi utilizzare Kynaptic o da terminale digitare semplicemente

sudo apt-get install eagle-usb-data  eagle-usb-utils

Una volta installati i pacchetti da terminale digita

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo eagleconfig

e segui le istruzioni. Per avviare la connessione, da terminale:

Per interromperla

Provando a installare i pacchetti sulla mia ubuntu ho notato che alla fine dell'installazione parte automaticamente un tool automatico per la configurazione, direi quindi che il comando eagleconfig non serve più

Naturalmente questa procedura funziona se hai il dvd di installazione...altrimenti devi scaricare i pacchetti .deb e poi installarli

come potete vedere alla fine il processo di configurazione fallisce
PS: la parte precedente della configurazione credo l'abbia omessa perché avevo già fatto delle prove precedenti a questo log e l'ha letta da li (mi riferisco all'isp, nome utente e password per la connessione)

anche se mi sembra strano in quanto i moduli presenti nella distro dovrebbero sicuramente funzionare con i modem usb ho provato a seguire la procedura che mi hai indicato. Effettivamente il modem risponde, ora oltre al led indicante il collegamento col pc è acceso anche quello indicante la disponibilità del modem a connettersi, tuttavia aprendo il browser non riesco a visualizzare alcuna pagina.

da qui sembrerebbe che la password impostata nel file pap-secrets sia errata, eppure l'ho controllata ed è quella giusta, forse si tratta di un errore di sintassi e non viene riconosciuta?

Sembra proprio un errore di password...da quel che leggo il modem sembra funzionare a dovere... con chi sei abbonato per il collegamento adsl? Potrebbe essere anche un errore di sintassi...magari vuole la password tra virgolette, oppure la vuole senza... purtroppo non ho mai avuto esperienze con modem usb su linux...provo ad informarmi meglio

l'isp è tiscali, provo a vedere cambiando la sintassi cosa accade e ti faccio sapere...


EDIT: ho fatto tante di quelle prove che ho perso la configurazione originale dei file pap-secrets e chap-secrets, si possono ripristinare in qualche modo? o meglio ancora qualcuno potrebbe allegarne una copia al thread (naturalmente eliminando i dati personali e rendodolo accessibile senza root)
