Internet Explorer - Start page=about:blanc è un malware?

Dal log di Hijackthis figura la seguente stringa: R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet explorer\Main,start page=about:blank.

Da notizie reperite nel web dovrebbe far riferimento ad una pagina iniziale in bianco del browser ma potrebbe essere anche un malware. inoltre figurano altre due stringhe del gruppo R0.

Non essendo molto ferrato vorrei un vostro consiglio se posso eliminare le tre voci R0 presenti, tranne ovviamente quella relativa alla pagina iniziale di google, e soprattuto quali aree del Sistema operativo devo esplorare per fugare ogni dubbio?

Alla stato non rilevo alcuna anomalia nel funzionamento del pc.

ciao,per fugare ogni dubbio,potresti fare una scansione completa con Malwarebytes' anti-malware o con combofix,se usi quest'ultimo disattiva momentaneamente l'antivirus.

Infatti, nelle opzioni, oltre alla pagina iniziale che ho preimpostato per google c'è anche la pagina in bianco.
